Deputy Digital Director, Independent Expenditure 

Reports To: DCCC IE Digital Director

Position Summary: For the first time ever, the DCCC IE is building an in-house digital department to run targeted advertising campaigns; create compelling digital-first content; and deploy nimble  rapid response programs across multiple online platforms. We’re looking for someone with management experience and a creative eye to identify and drive opportunities to make an impact on House races in 2018.

Responsibilities: The Deputy Digital Director will help drive the DCCC IE’s digital creative and media strategy by supervising the conception and implementation of online persuasion and mobilization programs focused on House races across the country. This body of work will all be centered on informing, persuading, and mobilizing voters with the goal of taking back the House in 2018.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in digital advertising, preferably in Democratic politics
  • Has extensive digital creative oversight and agency management experience
  • Experience managing a team and overseeing the development and execution ad campaigns using Facebook Ads Manager, Google AdWords, etc.
  • Experience analyzing multiple ad campaigns and optimizing future ads based on these results
  • Ability to recognize rapid response + online engagement opportunities and translate those into impactful online video and static ad engagement
  • Solid understanding of digital media planning and how to build and adhere to ad budgets
  • Commitment to electing more Democrats to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018

This is not a traditional 9-5 role. Evening and weekend work will be expected from time to time.
